Making lasting differences
Like any organisation, we don’t operate in a vacuum but as part of a large ecosystem – this is why we are committed to being a positive force in our communities, investing both time and money in causes around the globe.
Utilizing our professional skills and untapped talents, we've made significant contributions through volunteering and charity work, unlocking young potential by providing access to education, work and the legal profession. And through our pro bono programme, we have supported initiatives with a societal or environmental benefit.
All of our efforts are underpinned by wider investment from the Addleshaw Goddard Charitable Trust.

Fundraising
Honeypot in the UK
Honeypot supports young carers aged five to 12, providing welfare grants, respite breaks for positive memory-making days and educational support. In the first year of our partnership we raised £179,800 through direct donations, a Christmas appeal and team/individual fundraising.
"This amount will mean that an additional 341 young carers will get to have a much- needed respite break at Honeypot House where they have the freedom to just be children, have fun, make happy childhood memories, feel less isolated and have a break from those ongoing adult responsibilities at home." - Honeypot
Jigsaw in Ireland
Jigsaw provides a wide range of information and resources to improve youth mental health. Our partnership began with the launch of the Dublin Charity Committee and we've been fundraising in innovative ways, such as by completing the Howth Cliff.

Charities and organisations we've supported
Volunteering
We have a wide portfolio of activities in different locations which means that there's something for everyone to get involved with that suits their interests and skills, either in their own time or by using their annual volunteering day.
Middle East Committee
We coordinated the distribution of 600 Iftar meals during Ramadan to the workforce at the Marwan Camp in Sharjah.
School Tasking
We sponsor the University of Warwick's outreach programme for primary school children in disadvantaged areas and volunteer at their sessions around the UK. Shaped around the TV series 'Taskmaster' the children are given fun tasks to practise key skills such as teamwork, communication and lateral thinking.
How we are helping
Official Legal Partner of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Our investment supports charitable initiatives like the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and a community outreach programme focussed on urban gardening. Plus, we're providing them with pro bono legal advice. After the show, we moved our sponsored garden to Rock Trust, a charity in Edinburgh that helps homeless young people.
Legal Explorers
In partnership with PRIME, we provide work experience for ambitious Year 12 and fifth year students in England, Scotland and Ireland who might struggle to access opportunities in the legal profession. The programme runs for an academic year and they receive a laptop, bursary, workshops and a mentor to provide support.
Women for Women International
For every woman who attends Flourish, our female development programme for clients and colleagues, we sponsor a woman in a war-torn country to join a similar programme to enhance their knowledge, skills and confidence.
The Canal & River Trust
In Leeds and Manchester we contributed to canal management, cleaned graffiti and removed plastic waste from urban green spaces, earning us a Gold Green Apple Environment Award and a Silver Green World Award for our efforts.
Kusasa
The Kusasa Academy is an independently funded school for underprivileged children aged four to nine in South Africa. Our donations have helped contribute to a teacher's salary for each of the last four years.
