David leads our corporate team in Scotland. He is a corporate and commercial lawyer based in our Edinburgh office, his personal practice focusses on Technology sector. David advises on transactional corporate matters and joint ventures as well as technology outsourcing arrangements, software licensing and technology innovation and exploitation. David is recognised as a leading partner in the Legal 500 under the Corporate and Commercial IT & Telecoms categories and noted as particularly active in the technology and fintech sectors in relation to corporate transactions. David co-leads the firm's Fintech subsector.

Recent experience includes:

• advising global Fintech, FNZ on its outsourcing services contracts for the provisions of wealth platform services to various blue-chip financial services clients in the UK and internationally
• advising a leading national building society on its strategic venture capital investments into a number of Fintech businesses
• advising Par Equity on its investments into, and divestments from, technology businesses including Current Health, Symphonic Software, NPT, Neuranics, Gigged.AI and Cyacomb 
• advising E-Serve on its investment by Vespa Capital
• advising xDesign/Create Future on its growth capital investment by Soho Square capital
• advising GL Events on its acquisition of Field & Lawn.
