Jamie is a partner and Head of the Restructuring team in Scotland. Jamie specialises in all aspects of insolvency, turnaround and corporate restructuring.
He is dual qualified in Scotland and England, has over 16 years experience in the finance and restructuring market.
Recent highlights include:
- advising PWC as the Administrators of McColls Retail Group plc in relation to the pre-pack sale of the Group to Morrisons Supermarkets.
- Jamie has acted for Teneo as Administrators of the M&CO Retail Group. M&CO is one of Scotland's largest retailers with over 180 stores and 1,910 employees. AG have been working alongside the Administrators in dealing with the trading administration which has been key to delivering a strategy that has maximsed returns for creditors.
- Jamie has acted for Interpath as Administrators of the Arjowiggins Group. Arjowiggins was a paper mill and manufacturing business that operated for over 250 years and employed over 500 people. AG advised one of the lenders on the proposed restructure, contingency planning and then the appointment of Administrators in relation to the Group. The Group consists of 10 UK companies with subsidiaries in France, Italy, Spain and China. We have been advising the Administrators on their strategy to maximise returns to creditors.
