Karen's experience includes:
- advised National Wealth Fund on the Sizewell C (SZC) project, a proposed 3.2 GW nuclear power station in the UK, which will generate enough electricity to power 6 million homes.
- advised TAQA Transmission on its investment in Transmission Investment, a UK transmission network developer and operator
- acted for bp Gas Marketing on the negotiations for the route-to-market, tolling and UK emissions trading services agreements for the Net Zero Teesside power plant, which aims to be the world's first gas-fired power station with carbon capture and storage
- acted for Schroders Greencoat LLP in its formation of a joint venture with Carlton Power Limited (a UK independent energy infrastructure development company) in relation to the development of electrolyser based green hydrogen production projects, targeting a portfolio in the United Kingdom of 500MW by 2030
- Transmission Capital Partners as preferred bidder for the Rampion, Beatrice East Anglia 1 and Moray East offshore transmission networks in the TR5, TR6 and TR7 Ofgem auction rounds
